I chose to watch Crazy Rich Asians (2018) simply because I wanted something fun, but I was pleasantly surprised by the profound message it carried. While I picked it for its glitzy, romantic aesthetic, the film offers a deep look into the maturity required to sustain love and the immense hurdles one must overcome before marriage.
